FIRST®(For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is an orginization whose goal is to inspire students of all ages in Robotics.
The Innovation Challenge is the competition that was created by FIRST® during the pandemic as a result of teams not being able afford or meet to build a new robot for a new robotics season.
4338 Falcons is a FIRST Robotics Competition team from Israel. We chose to design an affordable device to help people go up and down stairs. We also tried to make it portable and give the user even more support while walking on any terrain.
Although we did not move on to the next round of the competition, Luis Daniel continued developing it in the US and has turned it to his senior project.
Created the initial CAD models that demonstrate the main idea of the cane mechanics.
Thought of the problem.
Proposed the idea for a solenoid and spring mechanism.
Supported the team in the process helping whenever help was needed.
